A song begins before the first note.
It begins in a body that has decided, against all the evidence of a tired week, to step on a stage anyway.
That decision is the work. Everything that follows is application.
ANTONIO HERRERA is the brand I made for that decision. The performer. The designer. The man who builds objects, songs and experiences that make people feel something they had stopped expecting.
Most personal brands sell who someone is. This one offers what they make.
I make extraordinary memories. That is the whole promise. Not insights, not frameworks, not before-and-after testimonials. Memories that arrive unannounced and refuse to leave. The kind of evening where the room itself becomes part of the story. The kind of song that finds you at the right age. The kind of object that sits in a house for thirty years and still asks something of you.
Why these things and not a more conventional offering.
Because everyone I know who is alive at the level I want them to be alive at says the same thing. They remember the moments. They remember the meal in Tokyo where the conversation took an unexpected turn. The hotel in the Engadin where the morning light did something to their sense of possibility. The piece of music that played at exactly the right second. They do not remember the argument that won them over. They remember the experience that opened them.
ANTONIO HERRERA is built around that fact.
The work has three streams.
Performance. Music as a live, intimate, designed event. Often for small groups, sometimes for one. Singing has been part of my life since I was a child, and it is the most direct instrument I have for doing the only thing that matters in this work. Making people feel.
Design. Objects, environments, brand worlds. Beauty as a survival strategy for men whose lives are heavy. Beauty done with rigour. Every piece I design begins with the same question. What does this object ask of the person who lives with it.
Experience. Curated events, dinners, journeys. The space where performance and design meet life. These are rarely promoted. They happen because the right people are in the right room at the right time and someone, usually me, has thought about every detail.
Why all three under one name.
Because the application is the same. Whether the medium is a song, a chair, a room or an evening, the work is to architect a moment that lets a person come back to themselves. Personal life and relationship architecture, expressed through objects and experiences instead of methodology.
ANTONIO HERRERA is the application. HERR Design Collective is the practice. They share the same source.
If a song or an object or an evening I make ever finds you, that will be enough.
The work I am most proud of is the work that arrives without an explanation.
